Which of the seven parts of the learning process is going to be the easiest for you? Which do you think is going to be the hardest? Research will definitely be easy for me as the information isn't something that I need to think too much about as it's just me writing down knowledge relating to the project. It's very straightforward and I don't have to have any major ideas for it. Questioning seems like it will be the hardest for me since as much as I have questions I also have trouble wording them and being motivated to find solutions especially when the questions aren't just given to me.

We have officially completed the first two days back. Do you feel like you're "back on track" or still figuring it out? What has been the hardest adjustment? I definitely feel as if being back in class has been difficult, especially considering I have a lot of work already and we just started. The schedule adjustment has been difficult since I now need to get used to waking up at a certain time and being out of the house for many hours. Another difficulty has been that since we've been back there have been various changes that I'm having to adjust to which has been slightly pleasant but for each good thing there seems to be five times the challenges to follow. I am however glad to be able to interact with people again as the strain of falling back into very extremely anti-social ways could make it harder to return into a social environment.
What do you hope to get out of this course? What skills could you develop by knowing more about human behavior and the brain? I would like to learn more about how the mind works so I can help others as well as myself. I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy learning about something that could be potentially useful. Knowledge about how the brain works really fascinates me, especially in cases that would be considered abnormal.
The idea of being a psychologist or something similar has crossed my mind multiple times and while nothing is official I am still interested in the topics relating to the occupation. I would like to learn how to recognize situations relating to various psychological ideas in hopes of being able to identify them later. Being able to find out more about myself in order to improve myself based upon psychological ideas sounds like something I'd enjoy. |
